To rank your video on YouTube you have to adopt the following descriptions. Nobody can stop your video to rank on YouTube.
1. Title:
Title or topic has the first and foremost priority when you are going to make a video.You search on YouTube for that topic on which you are going to make a video and see how many views are available on this kind of video, if they have views in millions then you should make a video on it.
If videos on that topic have fewer views it means you will also get fewer views. So you should skip that topic and work on some other topic having views in million or at least 100k.
Most You-tuber did this mistake rather blunder when they write relative titles in their video, they separate the title by using emoji or different symbols like @,#,$,%, &,:,.
Which ruins their whole efforts because these symbols don't follow the SEO algorithms.
The only symbol they can use is a straight line at 90 degree which acts not only as a separator but also as a merger that ranks your title in SEO and ultimately views on your videos gradually increases.
2. Click Through Rate(CTR):
CTR plays a central role to rank your video on YouTube. To increase the CTR two things are compulsory one is THUMBNAIL and the second is the first 3 minutes of your video.
When someone searches on a topic he first sees thumbnail, which thumbnail is attractive and simple and neat he clicks on it.
Similarly, most viewers click on your video, and the CTR of your video starts increasing.
Secondly, when he starts viewing your video if your first 3 minutes attract him he does not skip your video and doesn't go on other videos on the same topic. So your video gets more CTR in this way.
3. Engagement:
Engagement means either the viewers like subscribe or comment on your video.
To engage your viewers you should ask a question that is so interesting that everybody tries to answer it.
4. Retention:
Go to creator studio and further Analytics and see the retention time/period and in graph see where it has high value and watch in this video what you have to ask or show at that point which gets the audience retention.
Try to adopt such things in your future video. You can add some graphs, facts, and figures to get their attention.
5. Tags and descriptions:
A suitable and reasonable description is also plays important role in your video. Tags are those things that tell the YouTube algorithms on which topics or titles your video fall or relates.
